Purpose of job:

To undertake general administration duties supporting the Group Advertising Manager and the advertising department, ensuring total confidentiality at all times.

The Administrator role:

Provide administration support for the publishing advertising department.

General administration duties including daily call logging, and the recording of staff one-to-ones, appraisals and sales performance.

Manage the sales incentive process and record outcomes. Update sales figures on department spreadsheets and support the Group Advertising Manager with HR administration.

Keep records, electronic and paper based, accurate and to a high standard.

Monitor and keep updated all media packs for all Mortons’ magazines.

Support the ad teams and copy chase teams when required.

Undertake any other duties the Group Advertising Manager requires, ensuring the post holder has had the necessary experience and training.

Keep personal skills and knowledge up to date; develop a good understanding of all relevant software packages and the printing process, highlighting any relevant training needs to your line manager.
