
Role: Customer Marketing Manager (Events & Products)
Reports to: Head of Customer Marketing (Events & Products)
Based in: Horncastle
Role Purpose: To grow Kelsey’s event ticket sales and customer-direct product sales by developing effective multi-channel marketing strategies which engage audiences and strengthen brand connections to achieve agreed financial objectives including volume, revenue, and profit contribution.
Key responsibilities
Events
- Develop and deliver audience-led multi-channel marketing campaigns to increase event ticket sales (with a focus on pre-paid tickets), to achieve budgeted volume, revenue and profit contribution, and KPIs.
- Lead and co-ordinate multi-channel marketing campaigns including cross-promotional opportunities (digital, social media, email, events, print etc..).
- Identify and build third party partnerships to extend awareness and drive ticket sales.
- Effectively segment data to target audiences effectively using the SCV database
- Work collaboratively with both the event and brand teams to improve the effectiveness of the customer marketing strategy before during and after the events.
- Be responsible for the design of marketing creative and updating graphics when necessary
- Be responsible for the creation and schedule of e-shots and social media campaigns
- Create press releases for Kelsey’s events, liaising with the Events Director and Head of Marketing
- Analyse performance against KPIs, prior year and budget, and share clear recommendations through concise monthly updates.
- Develop actionable audience and competitor insights to strengthen event positioning and inform strategy
- Plan and manage budgets, re-forecast revenues and costs as required and communicate both financial and ticket volume performance
- Liaise with commercial partners as and when required
Products (including bookazines, books, merch etc…)

- Develop and implement general marketing opportunities and co-ordinate, lead or participate in specific Kelsey-wide portfolio campaigns as required
- Actively participate in Customer Marketing, Brand and other meetings, providing monthly reports
- Develop product range and retail offer, and attend Kelsey and Third-Party events to promote Kelsey products to consumers to achieve sales growth
- Support the Head of Customer Marketing (Events/Products) to meet the needs of the business, achieve objectives for the portfolio and develop junior members of the team.
- Ensure all marketing, lead generation and other relevant activity is fully GDPR compliant
- Lead projects as and when required to achieve specific objectives within the Customer Marketing department
- Undertake any other reasonable ad-hoc duties as and when required
Key skills / Requirements
- Proven experience in event marketing and multi-channel campaign management (especially digital)
- Skilled in audience insight and data-driven marketing, with the ability to translate findings into action.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to work across multiple teams and brands.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- A mix of creative thinking and analytical ability, with attention to detail.
- Competent in marketing tools, databases, and digital platforms.
- Strong track record of growing sales, revenue or customer engagement through marketing and results orientation
- Confident in budget ownership, forecasting and performance reporting
- Ethic and focus on constant development and improvement
- Well organised, able to prioritise, plan, meet deadlines with strong attention to detail
